Yellow Bag

In the early days of my office life in Beijing, I began to enjoy dressing up—not to impress others, but to express myself. This yellow, shiny bag was from a brand that felt a little out of reach at the time, but I made up my mind to get it. Buying it was a small act of independence—my way of saying I was in charge of my own life.
