Floral Skirt

Visiting an open market in South Africa was a truly joyful experience—delicious food sizzling in the air, rows of handcrafted treasures, and music that made people dance with spontaneous delight. That’s where I spotted this beautiful handmade dress. It was love at first sight. The moment I tried it on, I felt like a happy swan twirling to the rhythm of life. I later wore it to myHawaii hula dance class in Berlin, spinning in wide, flowing circles. It was a little tight around the belly even then, but it was too beautiful to leave behind. Now, it no longer fits me, but it still holds all that joy and movement. I hope it finds someone who will dance in it again—and love it just as much.
